My final project at Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2006. I redesigned the on-air visuals for RÚV, the national television in Iceland.
The identity is a spiral timeline that represents 24 hours. The inner circle starts at 6am and gradually evolves into the outer circle ending at 6am the following day.
Onto this spiral the programs, which all have different color codings, are lined up to form the visual interpretations of each programmed day according to their scheduled air time. As well as being color coded, each program category has a separate tone. Therefore there is a different visual & audio identity each day for 365 days.
I also created bumpers for all the categories i.e. children's programming, news, films, series etc.
