Icelandic Clip Art is a collection of 115 stock images illustrated with vernacular Icelandic imagery. The images represent my perspective on “typical” Icelandic people, places and things and are presented in 12 categories such as Food and drink, Weather, Superstition, Traditions and Portraits of Icelandic presidents.
Icelandic Clip Art was my final project at the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2006. It was presented in a book accompanied by a CD with all 115 images. The book and the CD was sold at Þjóðminjasafnið (the National Museum of Iceland) and Pikknikk design store and featured in Iceland Review magazine and Aurum design gallery in Reykjavík, Iceland.
